MS Bike Team Sponsorship:
For 2009 I am seeking sponsors for a new wine and coffee theme team which I expect to have 75+ members and raise $60,000+ for the National MS Society. In exchange for your sponsorship you will receive exposure to Bike MS participants and volunteers as well as extensive exposure year-round to the Triangle-area cycling and running communities.
The 5th annual Cup 'n Cone Tour: Saturday July 25 from Cary to Carrboro NC. Last year more than 600 cyclists participated in this MS fundraiser. We expect 700+ participants in this year's tour.
Thanksgiving Day 2009 Turkey Trot: Thursday, Nov.26, 2009. More details to come.

The first 500 registered cyclists receive a free Cup 'n Cone cyclist wallet ($10 value).
The Tour offers distances of 30, 48, and 67 miles. The longer routes include the infamous climb up col d' Lystra, but finish with 20 gentle miles. The challenging 67-mile route heads out to Maple View Farm Dairy Store in Orange County over mostly lightly traveled roads and demands a total of 2,750 feet of climbing. It's arguably the toughest charity ride of this distance in the Triangle!
The fully supported ride includes very well-marked routes, cue sheets, SAG support, and rest stops. These are no ordinary rest stops. On the 48- and 67-mile routes cyclists will enjoy free ice cream from Maple View Farm Dairy Store in Orange County. Rest stops are also stocked with fruit, snacks, water, salty snacks, and sports drink. At the finish, all participants will enjoy free Goodberry's frozen custard.
